The Hilton Doubletree Miami

                                                                                        (View from my balcony)

Our stay at the Hilton Doubletree in Miami contained the perfect components to create a vintage fairy tale! Throughout the duration of our stay in our presidential suite, we were reminded of why some things are better in it's original version.

                                                                                             (Main Lobby)
Eliana definitely approved of the super clean lobby, where we were given more delicious cookies than we could eat. :)
                                                                                                   (Hallway)

You guys already know how I am about bathrooms. This bathroom was serving us all types of Disney Princess vintage vibes. It was my favorite part of our entire stay. I loved waking up each morning and doing my makeup in natural outdoor lighting.

The fitness center was pretty awesome. It was well equipped to complete anyone's everyday workout routine.
Not to mention their lovely basketball court,,,

The true test of whether or not a hotel is worth staying for multiple days or not would be condition of the pool. Eliana gave the pool an A+ rating.
All in all, my stay was above average! If you are traveling as a family, I definitely recommend staying at the Hilton Doubletree, It has everything that you could possibly need right inside of the hotel. Pair that up with the awesome breakfast buffet, where they cook your omelettes right in front of you, and you've got yourself a pretty awesome home away from home.

Aloft Hotel

The Aloft Hotel is property of Starwood Hotels, designed to bring any location to life! With a futuristic feel, you will get all types of "Jetson's" Vibes staying at this hotel..

When I checked into my room, I was greeted by a luxurious loft style room, unlike any hotel that I've ever seen before! The high ceilings and the lovely decor was reminiscent of the lofts in Atlanta that I've adored for years.
Anyone who knows me is very aware of my obsession with bathrooms, lol. An entire place can be beautiful, but if the bathroom is ugly, the whole place is ugly. This bathroom provided me with all types of bathroom goals! I mean, look......

If you are looking for a hip place to stay, the Aloft hotel is where you need to be. This place is the epitome of a hidden treasure.

Dream Hotel (South Beach)

Before setting foot inside of the Dream Hotel, I had no idea what to expect. I was so used to staying at large chain hotels. Never would I consider a boutique hotel. After staying at Dream Hotels, I'm convinced that boutique hotels are the way to go! They treat you just like family, as opposed to just another number. Check in was unbelievably easy, and once the process was completed, I was handed a glass of champagne, and escorted to my room:)

When we unlocked the door to the room, Eliana immediately went bananas! She had never seen a more stylish hotel in her life...and as you know, Eliana is all about style. The bedroom consisted of stylish a king sized bed, a flat screen television, a mini bar, a dock for your phone, and a vanity area for applying your make-up.

Our favorite part of the hotel was the rooftop lounge area, which consisted of a pool, a dj booth, a bar, and an amazing view of Miami Beach!

If you are visiting South Beach, I would totally recommend you staying at Dream Hotel! Not only is it in walking distance of the beach, but it is also the type of hotel where you can stay all day and just relax, and the staff will treat you like royalty.

What are some of your favorite hotels on South Beach?

Being a Digital Influencer Vs. Being an Agency Model

I get a ton of questions (and shade, lol) wondering how and why I got on board with the era of digital marketing. People have this misconception that if you take photos with products on Instagram, then you should just be labeled as an "Instagram model". That is so lame and untrue. From my perspective, digital marketing only makes sense.

As you all know, I am an agency represented model. I still book jobs, and I still get paid for them. The thing about being an agency model is that even though we are "supposed" to be making a lot of money, we aren't. I could work every single day, and my output will still be greater than my input. I've been constantly booked, and struggling, just like the majority of signed models. The reason is simple, we don't see half of the money that we earn, and when we actually do see it, it's like 6 months later. I won't get into the details of why, because there's really no acceptable reason for this. So....moving right along.

My desires changed. I became tired of needing certain people to validate my worth as a model. I became tired of constantly looking at myself through the eyes of the world. It was giving me an unhealthy relationship with myself. I didn't like it...so I changed it.

On social media, the rules are simple. If you have over a certain number of followers, you get paid to advertise products, travel, and attend events. You get to work exclusively with brands, you choose the brands that you want to work with, and you never have to compromise yourself. You are in complete control of your own personal brand. Your money is sent directly to your PayPal, and most brands pay upfront....before the content is even delivered. I won't disclose the amount of money that I make on social media, but i will say that it is a lot more than I make from being on set for 12 hours.

The fact that I am a mother, I honestly cannot afford to be a broke model, putting in long hours, going from casting to casting, and not seeing my money, anymore. So it only made sense for me to go with the direction of the industry. Social media is a huge part of the industry. These days, models are not even getting booked if you don't have a huge following on social media, so it really goes both ways.

I look at being a digital influencer as something completely different from being an agency model. I consider myself as both. The two will never be comparable.
