What's Your Motivation?

I listen to a lot of people talk, and it's crazy, but I hear so many people define their reasoning behind wanting to be successful as  "the need to prove people wrong". In a generation motivated by "haters" it is not very hard to see why many of us don't get to where we are trying to go.

As I've stated in a previous post, the universe focuses on our intentions more so than our actual actions. Anything motivated by negativity will only yield a negative outcome. This is why it is important to make sure that we are doing things for the right reasons.

We can use parenting as an example. If you strive to be a good parent, it should be because you want the best for your children....not because you don't want to make the same mistakes that your parents did. If your intention is negative, then your result will be negative. You will simply attract the exact outcome that you are saying that you don't want. This is why it is important to focus on what you do want, rather than what you don't want. Anything that you place emphasis on, the universe will bring into your life, be it good or bad. Energy goes where attention flows.

Another example is when we want to be successful in our career endeavors. I'm sure that everyone wants to achieve all of their goals...but everyone does not have the same motivations. Have you ever heard the phrase, "success is the best revenge"? That's cool and all, but why are you motivated by revenge? You're motivated by negativity, which in turn, will bring even more negativity your way.

It's important to be motivated by all of the right things. When we are motivated by positivity, we will attract even more positivity. +++++++++

Days by the pool....

One of the things that I love about being in Miami is the fact that I can lay out by the pool all year. There is nothing like endless summer days...they provide me with so much inspiration. Everyday is a vacation for me. What are some inspiring things about the places that you guys live in?

Eating Habits

I get asked a lot of questions regarding my diet all of the time. Some people assume that I'm vegan. Some people are surprised that I even eat at all. So I will break it all down for you:

No, I'm not vegan, I'm just s very picky eater.

I'm not really big on labeling things, but I am pretty picky about what I eat. I would have a vegan diet if I weren't so obsessed with seafood. Lol. But since I won't be giving that up anytime soon, I'm going to have to be ok with not being vegan.

I never really get offended anymore when people ask me if I eat enough, simply because everyone who truly knows me, knows that I eat more than most people combined. No I don't make food choices based on my career. If I had to starve myself in order to look the way that I do, I would not be a model. I love food way too much.

I'm just very particular about what I put into my body. So when you see me eating vegan cookies, it's only because they are my favorite. Oh...and I think that animal milk is disgusting, so I'd prefer cookies that aren't made with it. I hope this answers a lot of your questions. ❤

Social Media Bullies

Good morning beautiful people!

I've been requested to do a blog entry on my feelings regarding how I deal with social media bullies. I don't have any feelings towards them at all, because I don't believe that I am bullied on social media.

Firstly, a bully is defined as a person who uses strength or power to harm or intimidate those who are weaker. If you are on a person's page, saying anything negative, then it is obvious that you are the weaker individual, so that eliminates that aspect of it. Secondly, I will never be intimidated by a person's negative opinion of me. It simply doesn't work that way.

I see crazy things written on my page all of the time. You guys would be shocked at the amount of people who don't get blocked on a daily basis. People even go on my page and talk about me like I'm not even there. Lol. They say things about my weight, about how my butt is fake (which is probably the dumbest thing I've ever read, being that I'm a size 2). They talk about how I'm never with my child, and the list goes on. The way that I deal with them is that I simply don't. Energy goes where attention flows, so I just choose not to pay them any attention..or I'll laugh about it with my friends...and it's been working out for me so far. :)

The Power of Intention

I'm sure that everyone is aware of the saying, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". That's pretty much the way that the universe operates, right? So..anything that we put out into the universe, we are guaranteed to get it back in return. Although that seems rather simple to understand, it is actually more complex than that.

The universe doesn't operate based on our actions...it operates based on our intentions. Our intentions rule our lives, which is why people who pretend to be something that they're not never really get anywhere in life.

Have you ever heard someone say, "I'm going to do this so I won't block my blessings"? The thing about that statement is that the motives behind it are all wrong. Their reasoning behind their actions are all wrong. We shouldn't do things with the hopes of getting something in return. We should do things if it is a part of our character. Regardless of what we do, our character doesn't change. If you constantly do good deeds, yet you see no reciprocation for your actions, the problem is that you aren't doing things for the right reasons.

Alternate Reality

Are you guys aware of the fact that the average person spends 20 years sleeping in an entire lifetime? At that point, our dreamworlds could be considered to be an alternate reality. We are pretty much just living out life through our subconscious minds. One thing that I've noticed is that regardless to how crazy my dreams may be, my character never changes. I am who I am, in every situation. In our subconscious minds, we are our truest selves, because our subconscious minds don't have the time to manipulate our characters into something that it is not.

Have you ever considered that since we create our own realities, we could actually be manifesting things that we are putting out into the universe, via our subconscious minds? At that point, although it seems like we don't have very much control, we in fact have more control than ever. All we have to do is elevate our minds.

4 Steps to having a healthy, peaceful, subconscious mind:

•Meditate

•Remember that it is always better to be kind, rather than to be right

•Always strive to help. In the 7 Spiritual Laws of Success, Deepak Chopra states that your spirit seeks to help. The spirit asks, "How can I help?".  The ego asks, "What is in it for me?"

•Trust the process

•Always act out of love

What are some of the things that you do to keep a peaceful mind?
